Modern Hair Transplant Technique

Hair transplant has become quite a viable option for many people who have to undergo early hair loss and consequently baldness. These days, advance techniques have made this process much easier than earlier eras. Wig is not the only option. Modern times are witnessing natural appearance of hair on the basis of mimicking. Here mimicking refers to copying natural hair in the exact way with the help of modern techniques.

It is believed that hair that reside in sides and back of the scalp are less prone to balding effect. Genetic balding is strongly resisted by these donor hair. The process begins with placing donor hair into thinning and balding areas of the scalp. Thus starts the procedure of replication of native hair in the balding area. The steps include, removing a layer of skin from the back of the scalp. Thereafter, from the designated scalp follicular units are grafted and finally surgeon make these miniscule pin sized holes in the bald area where grafts are transferred.

A follicular unit graft has 1-4 hair follicles. Great caution is needed to exercise during removal process and that’s why a team of specialists dissect these grafts under the microscope. Normally, 5 percent is considered as average rate of hair loss in the process. Consequently, to increase the survival chances of these grafts, they are adequately cooled. Finally comes the process of placement in which three crucial factors are, type of instrument used, site distribution and direction. The combined usage of these factors under the watchful and skilled eyes determines the quality of the final result. This entire process takes several hours and a team of 3-6 people. The whole process is quite safe and affordable. The only possible side effect is shock loss of hair but that’s a temporary one.
