Hair Myths

Hair is one of the most important assets for a human being. Considering that fact and consciousness about hair, hearing lot of myths is no surprise. Normally myths are associated with things that are most endearing to us. The coming posts will take a look at those myths and will provide the correct information.

One of the most popular myths is the more you use shampoo, cleaner will be your hair. Wrong, completely wrong. A blob of shampoo is enough for you unless you have very long hair. In that condition slightly more shampoo will be required, that’s it. So it’s advisable not to waste your shampoo.

Another myth is blow drying causes permanent hair loss. This one is again is not entirely correct. Agreed, by using blow dryers you run the risk of burning or damaging your hair that can further lead to hair fall but there is no permanent fall. Hair will grow back soon.

One myth is about excessive washing of the hair. Few people think that will cause hair loss and dryness but this is false assumption. Recommended frequency is three times a week but you can also wash it as often as you prefer. It is in no way harmful. In fact, you should rather focus on using right shampoo or visiting good hair salons for your hair because that will provide moisture and beauty to your tresses. Many of you think conditioner helps in repairing split ends but that again is not correct. Damaged hair can’t be repaired by using conditioner however what it does is to make your hair smooth and give that ‘feel good’ condition.
